Detailed Daywise Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival at Gangtok
On your arrival at Bagdodra airport/ Jalpaiguri railway station, meet our tour representative and get escorted to pre-booked hotel in Gangtok.
Revered as the ‘land of monasteries, Gangtok is one of the top tourist destinations to visit in India. The city boasts of number of iconic monasteries, educational institutions, striking valleys and wonderful sanctuaries. With its breathtaking attractions, Gangtok allures travelers from all parts of India and across the globe. The place has much to offer when it comes to attractions.
You may visit Rumtek Monastery; largest Gompa in Sikkim, Saramsa Garden (a beautiful garden where you can see number of fruits and flowers planted), Fambong La Wildlife Sanctuary (wonderful sanctuary famous for varied flora and fauna) and Yumthang valley (the valley is home to Shingba Rhododendron Sanctuary where there are 24 species of Rhododendron).

Day 2: Excursion to Tsomgo Lake (38 km/ around an hour drive)
After breakfast, proceed for short trip to Tsomgo Lake; one of the most popular tourist spots settled at an attitude up to 12, 400ft. The lake receives its water from the melting of snows of the mountains. The lake holds great religious importance among locals. Legends say that, Buddhist monks in earlier times predicted the future after the study of color of water.
You may also indulge in wonderful yak and mule ride along the lake and adore the spectacular surrounding. There is also a Lord Shiva temple near the lake where you can offer sincere prayers to seek the blessings of the Lord.
Next you head to Baba mandir which is another major tourist attraction in Gangtok. The holy shrine is placed at an altitude up to 1300ft. and is just few kilometers away from Tsomgo Lake.
Locals here claim that the temple was put up in the memory of Baba Harbhajan Singh (a soldier). In fact, the temple is also referred to as Baba Harbhajan Singh temple.
With some good, memories return back to hotel. Rest of the day you can either shop at the lively bazaars of Gangtok or just loosen up in the hotel room.
Wel, if you are in Gangtok, shopping becomes a must-do thing. The best-buys of the place are handicrafts, locally made artifacts, Tibetan carpets, shimmering jewelries, Sikkim tea, alpine cheese, black cardamom and other traditional outfits.

Day 3: Gangtok local sightseeing (half day) - get transferred to Kalimpong (77Km, around one and a half drive) (Sightseeing)
On third day, have breakfast and embark on a half-day sightseeing tour to Gangtok and later in the evening proceed to Kalimpong.
During your Gangtok tour, you visit Directorate of handicraft handlooms Emporium; one among the few best places to shop in state Sikkim. Boasting of traditional motifs, Tibetan carpets and other excellent handicrafts including Thankas, Choksee and locally made furniture, the center was put up with an objective behind, to preserve and propagate the brilliant artifacts of local artisans. All the stuff you get here is unique and under your budget.
Next you visit Research Institute of Tibetlogy which initially was referred to as Namgyal Institute of Tibetology; one of the most important places in Gangtok that deserves your visit where you get to discover about the very culture, spirit and essence of land. Built in Sikkimese styles of architecture, the research institute constitutes of a library with massive collection of Tibetan works popular all around the world and a museum of Tibetan Iconography and religious art.
In today’s time, the institute is known worldwide and has become a great place to hold series of lectures and International conferences on Tibetan and Buddhist studies.
Further, visit Do Drul Chorten which is one of the most important and magnificent stupas in Sikkim holding Kangyur relics (holy books) and other religious objects. The stupa is situated on a hill and is pious enough among Buddhists. The chief attraction of the stupa is the golden top dome and the 108 prayer wheels around the stupa. Prayers are offered by turning the wheel and chanting the mantra ‘Om Mane Padmane Hum’ inscribed on the wheels. The stupa was made under the supervision of Trulshik Rinpoche, the head of Nyingma sect of Tibetan Buddhism.
Then we take you to the must-visit monastery in Gangtok, Sikkim, Enchey monastery; an important seat of the Nyingmapa order of Vajrayana school of Buddhism. Surrounded by tall pine trees, the iconic monastery is a two storey building boasting of shells which are regarded auspicious Buddhist symbols and several murals representing the protective deity and wheel of law on the porch.
Thereafter, explore White hall; historically significant building, erected in British styles. The hall comprises of an officer’s club and a badminton court. Also, visit the Flower Exhibition Center; a wonderland for plant lovers. With rich display of greenery and colorful flowers, the center also holds Sikkim Flower Show where visitors get to see beautiful orchids.
After travelling in and around Gangtok, straight away travel to Kalimpong. Situated on a ridge, overlooking Teesta River, Kalimpong is rich in terms of horticulture. From notable Buddhist monasteries to sanctified spots, Kalimpong has a lot to keep you engaged. It is a perfect place for history buffs.
Upon reaching Kalimpong, check-in at a hotel and settle down. Rest of the evening is at leisure or you can also roam around the attractive nurseries and local markets which are full with paintings, statues, thankas and items made from bone.
Overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 4: Kalimpong Sightseeing (half day) - get transferred to Darjeeling (48km, around 2 hours drive)
Fourth day is set out to explore Kalimpong. After breakfast, leave the hotel and drive through scenic road to Deolo hill; listed among the important places of interest to visit in Kalimpong. Deolo hill is one of the two hills in between which the town Kalimpong is setup. Scale the highest point of the region, Deolo hill, up to 1704m above the sea level. From the top, relish the enchanting views of Teesta River, Relli valley and gorgeous surrounding.
Then you head to Hanuman mandir; a big statue of Lord Hanuman on a hill. It is a great place for Hanuman devotees. Afterwards, visit the popular school of the town, Dr. Graham’s homes (school). The school was opened with a motive to educate the children of tea workers and other poor kids. The Graham’s home is also a well-known shooting spot.
Later, proceed to some important tourist spots in Kalimpong including- Durbin Monastery which is placed on the Durbin Dara Hill. The star attraction of the monastery is two large cylinders around 10ft high, on two sides. On turning the cylinders by a crank, the lever is so arranged that a bell would prompt on every turn. You also get to see prayer wheels on outside walls of the monastery; Manghal Dham, which a shrine cum a prayer hall. Dedicated to Lord Krishna the temple was raised by Shri Krishna Pranami in the memory of Guru Sri 108 Mangaldasji. The temple houses the statues of Prannath, Raj Shyamji and Mangaldasji.
The divine Mangal Dham works on the principles to help the schools, orphanages and whosoever in need; and Pine view nurseries which presents you a breathtaking and largest collection of cactus in whole Asia. The variety would make you wonder about cactus as a possibility in North Eastern locations too, apart from desert areas.
Later on, get transferred to Darjeeling.
Renowned as the ‘Queen of hills’, Darjeeling is an important tourist destination to visit in the state of West Bengal. The marvelous hill station is set up at an elevation of 7100ft with mountains and valleys all around and is best-known for salubrious weather, natural beauty, tea farms, monasteries, lakes, museums and a whole lot. The awe-inspiring views of Kanchenjunga, (the third highest mountain peak in the world) would totally leave you awestruck.
Darjeeling is also home to the famous World Heritage Train- Darjeeling Himalayan Railway; a thin gauge course connecting Darjeeling and Siliguri. Popular as the Darjeeling Toy train, the train started its operation in around 1881 and is one of the few hill railways operating in India. The train passes through some rolling hills, green jungles and tea farms of Darjeeling.
On your arrival at Darjeeling, check-in at a hotel and relax. Further, in the evening you are free to walk around the local markets. Some of the unique buys of Darjeeling that shouldn’t be missed during your visit include variety of teas, amazing kitchen wares, brass statues, woven fabrics and shinning jewelries.

Day 5: Darjeeling local Sightseeing (half day)
Today early morning get ready for some thrilling drive to Tiger Hill; at a height up to 8,500 ft. (On a clear day), cherish the mesmerizing natural beauty of the hill, the lush green jungles and the tranquil ambience. Usually, it is noted that, visitors stopover this hill to relish the wonderful sunrise. The ultimate view of golden sunrays falling over the snow covered Himalayan ranges would surely leave you awestruck.
From Tiger hill you can have a perfect view of Kanchenjunga, the third highest peak in the world. In case you are lucky, you may also get to see the world’s highest peak, Mount Everest.
Thereafter, on the way back to hotel room, visit the Ghoom monastery-built by Lama Sherpa Gyaltsho, the monastery belongs to Gelugpa (yellow hat) Sect. The monastery is highly revered among Buddhists and is storehouse to several Buddhist manuscripts. The highlights of the monastery are thangkas on the walls and around 4.57m high statue of Maithreya Buddha. The serenity of the place would surely provide you great peace and power; and then proceed to Batasia Loop and War Memorial. Situated inside Batasia Loop- a scenic garden, War Memorial is a tribute to Gorkha soldiers of Darjeeling who sacrificed their life in the battle. Inaugurated in 1995, the memorial holds an elevated platform where there is a statue of a soldier paying respect and a Cenotaph.
The loop offers amazing views of Kanchenjunga and picturesque surrounding from toy train (route from Ghum and Darjeeling).
Getting back to hotel for breakfast and relax for some time. After breakfast, get ready for a half day tour to Darjeeling.
Begin with Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park which is famed for some rarely seen species including Red Panda, Siberian Tiger, Tibetan Wolf, Black Bear and Snow Leopard. Located at a height up to 2133m, Padmaja Naidu is one of famous and highest Zoo in India. The main idea behind the formation of the park was to conserve the endangered species of fauna. The park has an amazing scenic beauty of lush jungles.
Then we take you to Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (closed on Thursday)- an institute basically put up to encourage today’s generation students to improve participation in exciting sports like mountaineering; Passenger Ropeway- one of the finest ways to adore the beautiful Darjeeling . It is India’s first Passenger Ropeway starting from Singamari. The route to Darjeeling and Singla Bazaar feels even better when you experience the ride.
From the Cable Car, one can truly sense enchanting tea farms, breathtaking valley, waterfalls and the River Ranjeet and Ramman. Moreover, you can also have the splendid views of Eastern Himalayan Range and the snow covered peaks of Kachenjunga; Tenzing and Gombu Rock Darjeeling- two big natural rocks set opposite to each other. Named after Tenzing Norway is the Tenzing rock and Gombu rock named after Nawang Gombu. Both the rocks are training locations for Himalayan Mountaineering Institute students; Tibetan Refugee Self Help Center-a perfect place to explore Tibetan Culture through the artifacts, wooden carvings, photographs, carpets, leather work and much more put into exhibition and on sale; Tea Estate- producing variety in teas, tea estates in Darjeeling are famous for their well-maintained farms where you can see different flavors, taste and aroma of teas (Sunday closed); Peace Pogoda- a Buddhist stupa/ monument specially put up to maintain peace and unite people of all religion and caste. Constructed under the guidance of a Buddhist monk, Nichidastu Fuji, the stupa stands for world peace.
Return back to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 6: Departure- Darjeeling to Siliguri- (64km, around one and a half hour drive)
Today, after morning breakfast, check-out form the hotel and leave for Siliguri. Further, travel to Jalpaiguiri railway station/ Bagdogra airport/ Tenzing Norgay bus station, for your onward destination.

Please note – Irrespective of above mentioned cancellations slabs – in case of cancellation of tour services after the booking is made with us – a minimum 10% service charges would be applicable.
In case you cancel the trip after commencement refund would be restricted to a limited amount that too would depend on the amount that we would be able to recover from the hoteliers we patronize. Detailed Daywise Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Darjeeling
Meet our IHPL representative who will be there to assist you while you take a transfer to Darjeeling from New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (70.3 km) / Bagdogra Airport (65.3 km) / Tenzing Norgay Bus Stand (61.9 km).
A serene hill station set at an elevation of 2050 meter, Darjeeling opens arms to tourists from all over the world to explore its untouched beauty. The weather of the hill town is so alluring that nothing in the world can make you leave it. Take a toy train ride (UNESCO World Heritage Site), have a look at the beautiful tea plantations while crossing the valleys, enjoy a stroll around the Mall road, enjoy the breathtaking views of the Kanchenjunga peak from the Tiger Hill and sip in a cup of the best tea in the world.
On reaching Darjeeling, check-in to the hotel. In the evening, go out for a stroll around the Mall or local shopping center of Darjeeling. Have a comfortable overnight stay at Darjeeling.
Day 2: Darjeeling Local Sight Seeing (Full Day)
This morning, wake up early and then leave for Tiger Hill. Get ready to experience a sunrise like never before. Tiger Hill is considered the best place to enjoy a sunrise in Darjeeling. This is because the hill is located at an elevation of 7,407 meter feet above sea level and it offers great view of the Himalayan range during sunrise. Let the shining rays of the sun and soothing ambience of the hill make you forget all concerns of the world.
While going back to Darjeeling, visit major tourist attractions like Ghoom Monastery, War memorial and Batasia Loop.
Batasia Loop is the place through which the toy train passes in a loop like pattern. It is a great location to enjoy a 360 degree view of Darjeeling’s picture perfect landscape. At the center of the Batasia Loop Garden, there is War Memorial, which was built to honor the Gorkha soldiers who lost their lives in different operations and wars after India’s independence.
Built back in the year 1875, Ghoom Monastery holds immense importance as it is dedicated to Maitreya Buddha, who is believed to be ‘The Buddha to Come’. The monastery preserves some rare, handwritten Buddhist manuscripts.
Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel and then leave for your next round of sightseeing.
Visit one of the most popular attractions of Darjeeling, Peace Pagoda. Peace Pagoda was purposely built in order to bring peace and prosperity in the world. Day 3: Excursion to Mirik (Full Day)
After having your breakfast, start driving towards Mirik. As you drive through picturesque valleys and lush green meadows, experience the soft breeze caressing your face and tranquility calling you closer. Mirik is one of the most serene tourist attractions of Darjeeling.
Relax by the beautiful Sumendu Lake and let the pleasing weather and breathtaking views leave you mesmerized. Enjoy activities like boating, horse ride and canoeing at Mirik. Mirik is a great location for trekkers as it offers a number of trails from where tourists can enjoy the view of thick and beautiful forests. Day 4: Departure Darjeeling to Siliguri
Munch some breakfast and then leave for Siliguri / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (70 km) / Bagdogra Airport (69 km) / Tenzing Norgay Bus Stand (62 km). On reaching, leave for your onward journey.

Detailed Daywise Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival and transfer to Gangtok
On your arrival in New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Tenzing Norgay Bus Stand (Junction) / Bagdogra Airport (IXB), meet our tour representative. Get assistance for transfers to your pre-booked hotel in Gangtok. On arrival check in to the hotel.
Gangtok is perched at an elevation of 1650 meters above sea level. The town is an important Buddhist pilgrimage center and houses many monasteries, especially Enchey Monastery. Clubs, shopping centers, exquisite eateries, gaming centers and other such entertainment options have made Gangtok a hotspot for tourists around the world. Oak, elm, poplar and birch and other numerous species of plants and trees merge to form vast expanse of verdure. The vibrant culture is something that also acts as a crowd-puller.
Rest of the day free at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 2: In Gangtok
After breakfast proceed for a day trip to Tsomgo Lake. Also known as Changu Lake, this glacial lake is a popular tourist attraction and is located on the road towards the Nathu La pass. Enjoy the beautiful surroundings here. The next visit is Baba Mandir. This shrine is built in the memory of a brave Indian soldier, Harbhajan Singh who died during the war near the Nathu La Pass. The Mandir worships no specific religion, but inspires its visitors to become selfless.
For the day you have an optional tour to Nathula Pass (Alt 14000Ft.) on China Border can also be arranged (Except Mon, Tue) for Indian Nationals only at an additional cost.
By evening return to Gangtok, you are free to shop in M.G Road (Mall Road) or other local markets. Stay overnight in hotel.
Day 3: In Gangtok
After breakfast proceed for a full day city tour from 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM. The sights included in the day's schedule include the Tashi view point, Ganesh Tok & Hanuman Tok, Ranka Monastery, Banjhakri Falls, Cottage Industry, Dro-dul Chorten, Institute of Tibetology, Flower show and Handicraft Centre.
After the day's excitement return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 4: Gangtok – Pelling (120 km / 5 Hrs.)
After breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed for Pelling. On arrival check in to the hotel. Rest of the free at leisure. Overnight at hotel.
Pelling is situated at an altitude of 2150 meters. The town is adorned with monasteries and nature's mystique. It displays the very essence of culture and nature gracefully. The sight of Himalayan peaks from this town is unforgettable, on a clear day you can catch the sight of the third largest peak of the world (Kanchenjunga), along with Kumbhakarna, Pandim, Zopuno, Shimbho, Rathong, Sinolchu etc. Several orchids add on to the beauty of the town. Also, its short trek routes and rich wildlife make it a preferred location by the trekkers.

Day 5: In Pelling
After breakfast leave for a full day of sightseeing (8:30 AM - 4: 30 PM). Visit Darap village, Kanchenjunga waterfalls, Sewaro Rock Garden, Rimbi water Falls & Khecheopalri Lake. After a quick lunch, continue with visit Pemayangtse Monastery, Rabdantse Ruins, New Halipad Ground and Bird Sanctuary.
Overnight stay at Pelling.
Day 6: Pelling – Darjeeling (110 km/ 4 Hrs.)
After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Darjeeling. On arrival check in to the hotel. Rest of the day free at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 7: In Darjeeling
Early morning, leave for viewing sunrise at Tiger Hill. This is a major attraction amongst the tourists. While returning to the hotel, do not forget to visit the Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. Have your breakfast and leave for city tour.
Cover the major attractions like Natural History Museum, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Parmesan Nadia Himalayan Zoological Park, Tibetan Refugee Self Help Center, Ropeway, Tea Estate, Peace Pagoda and Tensing -- Gumbo Rock.

Day 8: Darjeeling – IXB Airport (70 km/ 3 Hrs.)
Today marks the end of the blissful Sikkim with Darjeeling tour. After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Airport to connect the flight for onward destination.

Day 2: Gangtok Tour
Savour a sumptuous breakfast and go on to explore the attractions of Gangtok. Visit the famous Tsomgo Lake, which is situated at about 40 km from Gangtok. It is a beautiful glacial lake at a height of 12,313 feet that stays frozen in winters and reflects different colours of the seasons. Next, you will head to Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir that is also fondly called as Baba Mandir. It was built in memory of the great Indian soldier, Harbhajan Singh. Day 4: The Best of Darjeeling
Wake up early on this day and gear up for something even feistier before your breakfast. You will be taken up the majestic Tiger Hill to witness a charismatic spectacle - sunrise over Mt. Kanchenjunga. Watch the breathtaking view of sunrise over the great Himalayan range that turns to a pinkish-gold colour. Then en-route to your hotel, you will get to visit the 135-year old Ghoom Monastery or Yiga Choeling, Batasia Loop and the famous War Memorial dedicated to the martyred soldiers of Indian defence services. Return to the hotel and savour a wholesome breakfast, before you relax for a while. Centenary Farmers’ market where farmers would be selling their wide range of farm produces (vegetables from farms and wild ferns or bamboo shoots collected from forest, flour, rice, roasted rice, rice flakes, spices, yams both cultivated and wild ones collected from forests, fruits, etc) and livestock products (mainly cheese and butter). Free interaction with people from town as well as from villages come to this weekend market. Weekend market is from Thursday-Sunday( 4 days).
Tashichhoe Dzong, a fortress of the glorious religion. It was built in 1641 by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyel and was reconstructed into present structure by the late King, His majesty Jigme Dorji Wangchuck in the year 1962-1969.It houses the secretariat building, the throne room and the office of the king, and the central monk body.

Day 2: Thimphu-Paro & A Day Hike to Taktsang Ghoempa (Tiger’s Nest Monastery)
After breakfast, drive to Paro which takes about an hour and hike up to Taktsang Monastery, also known as ‘Tiger’s Nest’. The climb up to the viewpoint will take around 1 ½ hours and from there you will enjoy a spectacular view of the monastery clinging to the side of the cliff. Stop for refreshment at the View Point Cafeteria.Then walk further up to the monastery which will take about 1 hour. It is said that in the 8th century Guru Rinpoche flew on the back of a tigress from eastern Bhutan to this place and meditated in a cave here for 3 months. The principal Lhakhang (monastery) of the present monastic complex dates from 1692. Taktsang was damaged severely by fire in 1998 but has now been fully restored to its former glory.After visiting the monastery, walk back down to the road on the way stop for lunch at the view point cafeteria and then walk further down to the road point. Then drive back to hotel. On the way, visit Kichu temple,one of the 108 temples built in the 7th century by the Tibetan King Songsten Gampo. The story goes that a giant demon lay across the whole area of Tibet and the Himalayas and was preventing the spread of Buddhism. To overcome her, King Songtsen Gampo decided to build 108 temples, which would be placed on all the points of her body. Kyichu temple is one of the 108 temples.

Day 3: The Thimpu Experience (Sightseeing in Thimphu)

Day 4: Two in one: Punakha via Dochula (Thimphu to Punakha via Dochula)
The day begins with a delectable breakfast, following which you take a road trip through the mountains to Punakha.
The former capital of Bhutan, Punakha is also where most of the important religious and political functions take place. Contrary to its significance, it is not crowded at all; you will see acres of unharmed nature all around.
En route, stop at Dochula at an elevation of about 10100 feet. Wherever you look from up here, you will see snow-covered mountains. The pass is home to a temple, dedicated to the fourth Bhutanese king, as well as 108 stupas.
Thereafter, recommence the drive till you reach your destination, where you will explore the gigantic Punakha Dzong. Apart from defensive watchtowers and several halls, it also contains a temple, where the body of Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyal, who unified the warring kingdoms of Bhutan, is kept.
You will also pay a visit to Chimi Lhakhang, dedicated to a monk, known for his unconventional ways of preaching. You can see various cloth paintings, known as thangkas, and ceremonial drums at the shrine.

Day 5: A Day in Paro (Punakha to Paro | Sightseeing in Paro)

Here, visit Kyichu Lhakhang, where numerous treasures are believed to have been hidden by Padmasambhava. The wooden roof and white brick structure of the temple are embellished with colorful paintings.
You will also see a mighty fortress, Drukgyel Dzong, as part of this excursion. Though mostly in ruins, its strong masonry walls and cylindrical towers have withstood the fall of time.
If you liked the Folk Heritage Museum, then you will absolutely love the National Museum of Bhutan, housed inside Ta Dzong, which you will visit today. Cancellation & Refund Policy
Policy Regarding Cancellation / No Show / Early Departure
In case of cancellation of tour/travel services due to any avoidable/unavoidable reason/s we must be informed in writing. Cancellation charges would be effective from the date we receive letter in writing and cancellation charges would be as follows:
- 30 days & prior to arrival – 10% of the tour/service cost.
- 20 days to 18 days prior to arrival – 20% of the tour/service cost.
- 14 days to 16 days prior to arrival – 25% of the tour/service cost.
- 10 days to 08 days prior to arrival – 50% of the tour/service cost.
- 07 days & less, prior to arrival or no show – NO REFUND.
Please note – Irrespective of above mentioned cancellations slabs – in case of cancellation of tour services after the booking is made with us – a minimum 10% service charges would be applicable.
In case you cancel the trip after commencement refund would be restricted to a limited amount that too would depend on the amount that we would be able to recover from the hoteliers we patronize. For unused hotel accommodation, chartered transportation and missed meals etc. we do not bear any responsibility to refund.
Refund
In regard to refund of unused / unutilized services (which are paid for and cancelled in advance) the refund amount would be worked out on the basis of cancellation policy as described above and the money would be accordingly refunded to the person who has made the payment to us. Please note that the refund process may take 2 – 4 weeks due to banking procedures. If the refund is made to the credit card account OR to Bank account, the bank charges would be debited from the refund amount.

The visit to Ta Dzong – home to the National Museum of Bhutan – will bring you one step closer to the culture and people of the kingdom. Fascinatingly, some of the artifacts housed in the museum date back to 4000 BC!
Also, explore the Drukgyel Dzong! What is an archaeological site today used to be a significant defense base until a few decades ago! Constructed in 1649, the building was abandoned in 1951 after a fire left it in ruins.

After you reach the pass, your eyes will feast on the sight of Mount Jomolhari and Jichu Drake. On a clear day, panoramic vistas of the Haa and Paro Valleys can also be captured from here.

Day 1: Welcome to Thimphu - Local Sightseeing
On arrival in Bhutan, take transfer to the hotel and check in. Spend some time relaxing at the hotel and then proceed for local sightseeing. You will visit Memorial Chorten and the National Library. Memorial Chorten is a dzong which is built in the Tibetian style of architecture and stands majestic, with intricate statues, mandalas and a shrine. The National Library will give you an admirable insight into the rich culture and history of Bhutan. Return to the hotel after an exciting day and spend a peaceful night back at the hotel. Paro Airport to Thimphu: 48 km, approx. 1 hour.
Day 2: More of Thimphu
Savour a scrumptious breakfast on this day and proceed for an exciting day touring around Thimphu. Pay a visit to the Tashichho Dzong, a Buddhist monastery and a majestic fortress, which is also the seat of the government. Your second stop is the Buddha Point. Located atop a hill, this place has one of the largest Buddha statues in the world. Spend some peaceful time here before you proceed to the Bhutan Textile Museum. Day 3: Thimphu - Paro via Punakha
Have breakfast and proceed to Punakha/ Wangdue Phodrang via Dochula Pass on this day. Visit Chimi Lhakhang, the Temple of Fertility, which was built on a hill in the 15th century. It houses a divine meditation hall where you can pray and immerse yourself in the calm atmosphere. Also visit Punakha Dzong, which is the country's most beautiful and important Dzong. On arrival in Paro, check in at the hotel and spend the evening at leisure. Day 1: Guwahati - Bhalukpong (250 kms 5 hrs approx.)
Transfer from Guwahati airport/station to Bhalukpung
Bhalukpung is a small town located along the southern reaches of the Himalayas in West Kameng district of Arunachal Pradesh in India.
Fish angling and river rafting are the principal tourist activities in Bhalukpung. Tourist attractions in Bhalukpung include the Pakhui Game Sanctuary and Tipi Orchidariurm, which hosts over 2600 cultivated orchids from 80 different species.

Day 2: Bhalukpung - Dirang (160 kms 4-5 hrs approx.)
After breakfast visit to the Tipi Orchidariurm in Bhalukpung and continue drive to Dirang.
Dirang is an almost picture-perfect Tibetan – Monpa stone village marred only by the main road. Above the picturesque stone houses rises a steep rocky hill topped with Old Dirangs Gompa and several walls.

Day 3: Dirang - Tawang (150 kms 5 hrs approx)
After breakfast drive to Tawang
En-route witness the snowcapped Sella Pass at 14000 ft and the Jaswant Garh War Memorial. (Legend has it that Jaswant (Mahavir Chakra Awardee (Posthumous) of 4th Batallion Garhwal Rifles), fought a lone battle against the invading Chinese during the 1962 war. His spirit is still believed to protect the place).
Tawang is situated at an altitude of 3500m. The natural beauty and solitude of Gudpi and Chong-Chugmi ranges, Tawang chu River and Tawang Valley are mesmerizing. The inhabitants of the districts are all of Monpa tribes except Shyo village which is dominated by people of Tibetan Origin.

Day 4: Tawang

Proceed for sightseeing of 400 years (17th century) old Tawang Monastery which is the second largest monastery in the world after Potala Palace in Tibet. The building is about 113 feet long and 80 feet wide and houses valuable antiquities, books and manuscripts-handwritten and printed. Later visit Tawang War Memorial, a 40 foot high multi-hued memorial, has a structure constructed in stupa design. Dedicated to the martyrs of Sino-Indo War held in 1962, this memorial is nestled among beautiful peaks, which overlooks the Tawang-Chu valley.
Rest of the day free to stroll round the streets of the town.

Day 5: Tawang - Bomdila (180 kms 6 hrs approx..)
Breakfast at the hotel and drive to Bomdila.
Bomdila is the headquarters of West Kameng district located at the height of 8500 ft above the sea level. It has a lot of attractions for the tourists with its cool climate, Apple orchards, artistic people, snow-capped Himalayan peaks and Buddhist Gompas. The Buddhist monastery of Bomdila is the repository of culture.
Explore the town in the afternoon.

Day 6: Bomdila - Tezpur (160 kms 4 hrs approx.)
After breakfast drive from Bomdila to Tezpur
Little more than a utilitarian stopover for travellers journeying into Arunachal Pradesh or Upper Assam, Tezpur is a charming town with some beautifully kept parks, attractive lakes and enchanting views of the mighty Brahmaputra River as it laps the town’s edge.

Day 3: Dirang - Tawang (140 km/6-7 Hours)
After relishing a wholesome breakfast, proceed for a drive to Tawang and continue to reach the scenic Sela Pass, the only way that connects Tawang district of the state to the rest of the country. Besides its geographical importance Sela Pass is breathtaking place always covered in snow providing some beautiful views of the eastern Himalayan range. En-route visit famous Sela Lake. Upon reaching Tawang, check in to your hotel. Have a pleasant overnight stay at the Hotel/Homestay in Tawang.
Day 4: Tawang - PTSO Lake - Madhuri Lake - Bum La Pass - Tawang (Optional)
Post breakfast, start your day with breathtaking view of Shonga-tser Lake (Madhuri Lake), surrounded by snow- capped mountains and the valley offer a spectacular view. Next move on to Bum La Pass about 37 kms away from Tawang, it is the indo-china border that lies at 15,200 ft above sea level. Day 5: Tawang Sightseeing
Post breakfast, visit various beautiful sites in the city. Hit the Tawang Monastery (Galden Namgyal Lhatse), Asia's second largest and India's largest Buddhist Monastery which was build about 350 years ago in 17th Century. Explore age old artefacts related to Tawang Monastery and Mompa people of Tawang. Get a picturesque view of Tawang township in the heart of sky-piercing mountains. Then we move on to The Tawang War Memorial, a beautiful stupa build in memory of the brave soldiers who sacrificed their lives in 1962 Sino-Indian war. Later, we will go on a short trek to Bramdungchung Ani Gomap, which is the abode of nuns and the oldest Ani Gompa in Tawang. Take home local carpet woven by local ladies, Mompa traditional mask as a token of memory from Craft Centre Emporium. In the evening enjoy light and sound show. Day 6: Tawang - Bomdila (175 km/ 7-8 Hours)
Post breakfast, we will move on to Bomdila. Pay a visit to Bomdila Monastery, which was established in the year of 1965. Explore over 5000 orchid verities including some rarest species of orchid in Tipi Orchidarium. This will be shown to you on the next day. In Bomdila, have a spectacular view from Bomdila View Point, witness impeccable beauty of Bomdila. In the evening enjoy visiting local market. Day 7: Bomdila - Tipi - Tezpur (160 km/6 Hours)
Today after breakfast we will drive to Tezpur, en-route visit the Orchid Center at Tipi. Tipi houses over 7500 orchids. On display are some of the finest species like the Dainty Lady Slipper or the more formal sounding Dendrobium. Continue drive to Tezpur. Upon arrival, check into the hotel. Day 1: Arrive in Kathmandu

Besides the peaceful and tranquil environment around, the premises of the temple offers a breathtaking view of the Himalayas. - 10 days to 08 days prior to arrival – 50% of the tour/service cost.
- 07 days & less, prior to arrival or no show – NO REFUND.
Please note – Irrespective of above mentioned cancellations slabs – in case of cancellation of tour services after the booking is made with us – a minimum 10% service charges would be applicable.
In case you cancel the trip after commencement refund would be restricted to a limited amount that too would depend on the amount that we would be able to recover from the hoteliers we patronize. For unused hotel accommodation, chartered transportation and missed meals etc. we do not bear any responsibility to refund.
Refund
In regard to refund of unused / unutilized services (which are paid for and cancelled in advance) the refund amount would be worked out on the basis of cancellation policy as described above and the money would be accordingly refunded to the person who has made the payment to us. Please note that the refund process may take 2 – 4 weeks due to banking procedures. If the refund is made to the credit card account OR to Bank account, the bank charges would be debited from the refund amount.
